Prof. Zhen Gu is Qiushi Distinguished Chair Professor and Associate Vice President at Zhejiang University. He is an AIMBE Fellow and IAMBE Fellow, internationally recognized for his contributions to controlled drug delivery, biomaterials, and cell therapy. Prior to joining Zhejiang University, he served as Full Professor at UCLA and held faculty positions at UNC-Chapel Hill and NC State University. Prof. Gu has published over 290 papers and filed more than 150 patents. His honors include the Royal Society of Chemistry Felix Franks Medal, CRS Young Investigator Award, Sloan Research Fellowship, and MIT Technology Review TR35. He serves as Associate Editor for Biomaterials and several leading journals, and previously served as Associate Editor for Science Advances.
