Prof. Xiao Chen is a Professor at Zhejiang University and Executive Director of the Center for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine. His research focuses on tendon tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, including tendon cell differentiation, scar fibrosis mechanisms, and biomimetic collagen scaffolds for tendon repair. He has published over 90 papers in leading journals such as Science Advances, Nature Communications, and Cell Reports, with more than 5,000 SCI citations and an H-index of 42. Prof. Chen is a recipient of the National Excellent Young Scientists Fund and Zhejiang Provincial Outstanding Young Scientists Fund. His work has received multiple international Best Paper Awards and the First Prize of Zhejiang Natural Science Award.
