Yong Xia

Prof. Yong Xia received his PhD in Computer Science and Technology from Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU), Xi’an, China, in 2007. He is currently Professor and Deputy Dean (Postgraduate) at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, NPU. His research interests include medical image analysis and deep learning. In recent five years, he has jointly published more than 70 research papers in top journals and conferences, including JAMA Network Open, Radiology, IEEE-TPAMI/TMI/TIP, MedIA, NeurIPS, CVPR, ECCV, IJCAI, MICCAI. His publications have been jointly cited for more than 16,400 times, H-Index=61 (Goolge Scholar). He has served as an Area / Session Chair for ISBI 2017, MICCAI 2019/2020/2025, ICCASP 2023, and IJCAI 2025.
