Prof. Baojie Li is Vice Dean of the Bio-X Institutes and Director of the Stem Cell and Developmental Biology Center at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Prior to joining SJTU, he was a Principal Investigator at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Singapore. His research focuses on mesenchymal stem cell self-renewal, differentiation and aging, skeletal development and osteoporosis, as well as DNA damage responses, aging, and tumorigenesis. Prof. Li has led multiple major national research programs and published over 60 SCI-indexed papers. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Aging and Anti-aging Science Committee of the Chinese Geriatrics Society and Associate Editor of BMC Developmental Biology.
