Guotai Wang is Professor at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC). He obtained dual bachelor’s degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Intelligent Science and Technology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2011 and his PhD from University College London (UCL) in 2018. His research focuses on machine vision, artificial intelligence and their applications in industry and healthcare. He has published over 100 high‑quality papers in top journals and conferences including IEEE TPAMI, IEEE TIP, IEEE TII, IEEE TMI, Medical Image Analysis and AAAI, with more than 16,000 Google Scholar citations and 8 ESI Highly Cited Papers. He serves as Associate Editor of Pattern Recognition and Medical Physics, Guest Editor of Medical Image Analysis, and Youth Editorial Board Member of Electromechanical Engineering.
